Submit A Board Opportunity

To submit a board opportunity to the EWOB community, click the button above to launch the form in a new browser tab. Then, use the guidelines below to complete the form successfully.

Guidelines:

  1. Company Name. If the company wishes to remain confidential, please leave this field blank.

  2. Search Type. Please indicate if we can post this opportunity to the entire EWOB community, or if you prefer we select candidates internally.

  3. Company Description. Please include:

    • Name, if able to be shared.

    • A one to two sentence clear description of what the company actually does.

    • You are welcome to include any information that might be helpful for a candidate to understand the company.

    • Location of HQ.

    • Board meeting cadence (or meeting dates if known); virtual or in person.

  4. Company Type.

    • If the company is publicly traded, include (exchange: ticker).

    • If the company is privately owned, include type (e.g. PE-backed; VC-backed and include last funding round if possible; family-owned; seed/early stage; etc.)

  5. Ok to Release Company Name? If you are sharing the company name with EWOB, but do not want the company name shared with candidates, please select No.

  6. Contact Name. Your name, or the name of the person who should receive the candidate slate.

  7. Contact Email. The email for the person listed above. Please note, this email will be used to login to view the candidate slate.

  8. Pin #. Please enter a 4 digit pin. You will be asked for this when you access your candidate slate.

  9. What Is Your Connection To This Search. Please use the dropdown menu to select all applicable options.

  10. What Is Your Deadline For Candidate Names. Please enter the date by which you need the candidate names.

  11. Can The Board Spec Be Shared, If Available, With Candidates? Please select from the dropdown options.

  12. General Board Requirements.

    • Are you adding an independent director (if so, will this be the first one?)

    • Any general needs; e.g. to serve on a specific committee, or ways you want the board director to contribute.

  13. Please List "Must-Have" Requirements For Candidates.

    • Qualifications that the candidate MUST meet: if they do not, then you would not consider them.

    • Please think carefully about being too general vs. more specific: the more specific in terms of level, skills, specific experiences, the better. For example, do you truly need a former CEO, or will C-Suite or divisional/large P&L leader be ok?

  14. Please List Any "Nice-to-Have" Requirements For Candidates.

    • Qualifications that the candidate would ideally have, or would help them contribute further, AS LONG AS they also meet the Must-Haves. If the candidate had only these, you would not consider them.

  15. Please Attach Board Spec, If Available.
